We are now looking for an engaged and experienced HR Business Partner for our Civil South/East department. Here you will have the opportunity to take on an exciting assignment as our current HR BP moves on to new challenges within the group. We believe in close collaboration with the line organization and that you will be a natural partner to the business leaders and a part of the department's management team.
About the department
The Civil South/East department covers a geography that includes operations in Blekinge, Kronoberg, Kalmar, Östergötland, Skaraborg, and Gotland and consists of about 180 white-collar workers and 190 skilled workers. The unit has a turnover of approximately 1.7 billion SEK and primarily works on traditional earthworks and construction projects but also focuses on water treatment, industrial properties, underwater pipelines, and complex concrete jobs.
The role of HR Business Partner
As an HR Business Partner, you are responsible for providing HR support to the business while also working to develop various areas that are strategically important for the organization. You will work operationally in areas such as career and development planning, recruitment, restructuring, salary issues, rehabilitation, and labor law negotiations. In addition, you will be responsible for driving more long-term HR issues within the unit and also participate in joint development projects within NCC. You will work closely and supportively with our leaders and managers in both daily and long-term issues concerning profitability, growth, and employees. We have a strong and genuine focus on retaining and developing our employees, and you are expected to take an active role in this.
You will drive and implement HR issues according to NCC's guidelines and policies, which are based on legislation as well as the strategic goals of the business area and department. The role can also be shaped to some extent based on your personal focus and further developed in this area. We are in an exciting phase with a newly created management team, which provides opportunities to create new ways of working based on a solid foundation.
You will report to the division's HR manager and have close cooperation with your colleagues within the department. You will also be part of a network with HR BP colleagues, both within the division and the business area, which is Nordic. You will support each other and share your knowledge. Within NCC, we also have shared resources and HR specialists in Recruitment, Employer Branding, Competence Development, Work Environment, Labor Law, and Compensation & Benefits.
Your Profile as HR Business Partner
Today, you work in the HR field and have several years of experience in qualified and broad HR work and are confident in your professional role. You have a university degree focused on personnel and labor issues or another university degree with equivalent experience. If you have worked with both white-collar and skilled workers and also have experience from the industrial or construction sector, it would be an advantage for both you and us.
You are attentive and have a trustworthy demeanor as well as a professional approach. You have experience and are comfortable meeting managers and employees in various personnel-related situations as you support, challenge, and provide suggestions for solutions.
You are used to working independently but want to belong to a team, and you have the ability to prioritize, drive, and complete assignments in a systematic way. In the management team, you are expected to take an active role, which means you show interest in the needs and conditions of the entire organization and its employees. Negotiation experience and experience with contractual issues are advantageous, as is experience in change management. You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and are skilled in communication.
